About Katie

Katie is a classically trained Pilates instructor based in the Greater Washington, DC area, where she completed the Equinox Comprehensive Pilates Teacher Training Program under Carrie Macy Samper. Always a student, Katie continues her training and education with Meri Jones. She has taught private lessons at Equinox and now brings her practice to little classical studio.

Katie is passionate about helping clients of every age and experience level build a deeper understanding of, and connection to, their own bodies. Working within the classical Pilates method, she meets each person where they are, shaping every session around the body in front of her.

Movement has always been part of Katie's life, from soccer to a range of other athletic pursuits, and that experience shapes how she programs each session.

Katie holds a Bachelor of Science from Carnegie Mellon University, where she was a four-year varsity starter on the soccer team.
